In the News

This is the news release in the Geneva County Reaper for my blue ribbon cake recipe.  I am a member of a cooking club, Just A Pinch, that I just love.  There are so many wonderful friends that I have made all over the USA and other countries that love to cook as much as I do.  I am not nearly as active in the club as I would love to  be but I'm getting there.  This is actually a recipe I got the inspiration for on Pinterest.  It just didn't sound as good as I apparently made it it.  It just shows you how well social media works and even more how Just A Pinch is proud of it's members.  They promote and showcase the accomplishments of everyone.

The other things that have been going on it that I finally go the Etsy store Devine Salvage open.  PTL  It has been a dream of mine for over a year now and it is fabulous to have it come to fruition.  I am working on getting all of my Pin It buttons on this site so you can take wonderful recipes on here and link them to Facebook, Pinterest, Tweet, or Just A Pinch.

I posted an article last night about a friend of mine that published her 1st blog.  Her name is Maria Heil and I have known her since we were little.  Please take a minute and read her well written blog.  I have 3 friends that write food/couponing blogs all with a different point of view.  I will share them periodically for you entertainment.

Now for a picture of some of my Etsy items.  This piece is vintage 1952 Fenton and is totally shabby chic just like my kitchen.  If it doesn't sell it will be on display.  LOL
This is a very expensive piece of amethyst carnival glass by Northwood.  It is simly fabulous.

Completely old and fun little old high fashion lady bell.  It is just fun and fantastic.

A simply wonderful to any amber glass collection.  I so love this piece.

This is from my Daddy's collection.  It was unbelievable when researching this  antique scrap book to find out how much it was worth.  I have it starting with a low bid so we will see how it goes.

This is what I call a treasure.  It is antique Cosmopolitan.  What more do I need to say.  The cover is worth framing by itself but who wants to take it apart?????!!!!!  Again I hope it sells or I will have to display it.  I am suppose to be displaying only damaged merchandise, but who is looking----of that's right Daddy!!!!!!!!
Gotta run and check out the stores then get to painting.  I'm cooking for Poppa later this week and I can never dissappoint him---I just can't!!!!!!!
